I bought this dishwasher five months ago. This is my first LG appliance. I will never purchase this brand again. I have had two service calls already and they are coming again next week to see if they can correct the same issue. An AE code comes up in the middle of the wash cycle. The manual says that this indicates a leak. When the service guy comes out he resets it and says that there is no leak. The next week it happens again While waiting about 10 days each time for the repair guy to come out the dishwasher continuously flushes water out 24 hours a day. It is extremely loud and annoying. There is no way to stop it unless you turn off the breaker. I cannot do this since the refrigerator is on the same breaker as the dishwasher. This purchase has been a complete disaster. I have requested a replacement. I do not trust them to fix it at this point. DO NOT buy this dishwasher

This is by far the worst dishwasher out there. 1. The bottom rack falls off the track every single time I open it. 2. The glasses put on the middle rack never got clean and I have to wash by hand after. 3. The top rack does not clean anything. I stopped putting silverware up there. 4. We get constant error messages. This was a new dishwasher and it hasnt worked properly since the moment we got it.

Control Panel design flaw

I bought this model in 2018. The control panel went out in it in 2020. LG replaced it. It went out again in 2023 and LG refused to replace it. I researched this issue and found out it is a design flaw that allows moisture to get into the control panel. There is a pending lawsuit because of this. I dont not recommend this dishwasher unless you want to have to deal with the control panel issue.
