OK fridge, horrible ice maker

We have had nothing but problems with the ice maker. Has never filled in a year. If lucky year 30 cubes in a day. supposed to be 120- 140 cubes a day. I was told the ice makers where not great, but this is awful. Ice maker has Been replaced twice, then they replaced the entire door. Still sucks. Never seen anything like it. Fridge, eh, things freeze in the fridge all the time. Have it turned up as much as we can. Worst new fridge we have ever bought in 35 years. No ice, frozen food we do not want frozen. Just now a year old, piece of expensive junk

We needed a new fridge and absolute despise the French door but needed counter depth and what chore to find one! We stumbled on this one and it met all of our wants and had it delivered and set up! Best fridge we’ve ever had in 33 years! Dits our spot like it was made for it! Ice maker is super fast and makes great ice! We are very pleased with our choice!

our old side by side broke down, it had 1/8" to spare on each side as it was a built in.when we went to order the exact same one they no longer make it.But they said to go to this one.dint know for positive that it would fit until i got here. It fit great. It has a better ice machine and more freezer room. Love it Thanks Maytag
