Ive had mine for 3 1/2 years. It looks really nice it cools fine but have had a couple of issues so far. First the ice maker tray cracked after a couple of years and that was not covered in the warranty and was expensive and about a month ago it stopped cooling and it was the compressor which was covered by warranty still so I was happy they fixed it at no charge but it took 6 days so obviously all the food spoiled. LG said I can do a claim for the food and am currently waiting on that

I bought this refrigerator a little less than four years ago. After three months the icemaker on the door started to leak. Its a poor design and it just doesnt stay cold enough so the ice gets frozen in the icemaker and drains water all over the kitchen floor. To add injury to insult the compressor went out for weeks ago an LGs customer service is horrible. Looks nice performs poorly. Avoid this at all costs

We needed a more updated side-by-side and LG caught our attention for quality built and track record. One thing that I like are how the wiring harness is routed on the top of the door hinge rather than at the bottom of the door. If ever there would be an issue for wire breakage it would be easier to access.

This is the second LG fridge we have had. The aluminum exterior is easy to care for if you keep up with it. it is very attractive and performs well. It has wi-fi capability which I think is a joke. If you want to see how your fridge is doing open the door and look:
