We got this lg regfeger a year or so ago and my craft ice has never worked but one time called no help just question and to this day still not working

Ice maker in freezer keeps breaking

I bought this fridge about 10 months ago and the ice maker in the freezer has broken twice. The ice maker makes a loud knocking sound sound when its about to drop.

Sure is pretty as for quality fingers crossed. It was delivered missing a screw cap cover inside one door. Since it covers an unsightly hole more than an inch in diameter in an otherwise sea of white it sticks out and not in a good way. After more than 3 hours and 5 representatives a tiny plug that goes who knows where was mailed to me. No one could find the schematics of the inside of the French door. Really? So I gave up. Paying over 3K for a refrigerator one might expect better quality control or at least better customer service.

Love the fridge but

So we are right at 1 year and the fridge is awesome. Previous was a side by side that nothing fit in but this one has incredible space and convenience. The ice/water in the door is great the deli drawer is great. The not so great the craft ice maker conked out last month and the service tech said we needed a new ice maker. Said it is a known issue where the heater that kicks on for a couple seconds to warm the ice so it will dump craps out. The tray rotates ice balls stick dumps water on top of the stuck ice balls which runs into the bin and freezes.
