We bought the washer from a local appliance store. Both my wife and I wanted a simple machine. My daughter recently bought the same Amana washer and was satisfied. The salesperson said the Amana was the most simple to use. He did mention the different sounds from our previous washer. He was right on both counts. Still satisfied.

This washing machine does the same things as those incredibly expensive machines with all their fancy gadgets. It is very quiet and does its intended job, it washes and cleans what ever you load in it. Great choice.
