I bought this machine about 2 weeks ago. I had a previous LG washer that was 18 years old and that is why I purchased another LG washer. It was still working but making a loud noise and figured it was time for a new one. I have been really pleased with my washer and I hope this one last as long.

When my wife and I set out to purchase a new washer dryer we wanted to new smart units that we were hearing about - so we purchased this set - It is smart in that it pairs with your mobile device and send alerts when there is issue or when clothes are finished - My one and only issue is with the washer - Why do these front loaders require draining after each use? As if the chore of collecting separating by colors/whites then loading clothes switching to the dryer and then folding and putting away the clean clothes isnt enough now the designers have added an additional step - take the cover off - pull the washers little tube out - remove the cap and then drain any water into a container then replace the cap and tube and cover - What is this nonsense? Most consumers want a product that requires less steps not more. That said we will never purchase a front loading washer again. If this wasnt a requirement this washer would be perfect - but since it is its just a pain in the you know what.

Bought as a replacement for a machine that was old and died. It has proven to be reliable with enough features to allow for different types of loads as well as the ability to track and operate via an app. The AI sensing is excellent at determining wash time and type all the way down to water temps and spin cycles. It is economical and highly efficient. Also looks good
