Expensive, but I thought it would be worth it. The screen behind the drum on the interior of the unit is secured with sharp edged machine screw tops protruding into the interior. In each of the few loads I’ve dried (see my review of washer problems), at least one piece of clothing has been destroyed from abrading against these screw heads and having threads pulled out. It would have been simple to cap these heads with smooth metal. A $2400 dryer that rips clothing? Why? So incredibly avoidable.
