I formerly owned a Fisher Paykel top loading dryer. for more than 12 years. Speed Queen was recommended to me by a service repair man. I bought the top of the line electric dryer. It comes with a 5 year warranty. The only issue I have so far is that the dryer seems to run longer than necessary. I have checked the laundry items before the stop time and removed them because the laundry was dry. I pay close attention to the time that is remaining. Other than that, I am happy with the results. My previous dryer had a removable lint container which was a very smart feature. I am very satisfied with Speed Queen’s lint removal system. The drying time is not accurate— longer than necessary.
