after having lg out multiple times and paying hundreds of dollar in repairs the unit is still leaking and has destroyed my homes wood floors.

Im Without a doubt our LG 4.2 cu.ft. compact electric condensing front load dryer has been an ideal addition to our small apartment for the past five years. Its compact size and powerful drying capabilities have made laundry a breeze despite encountering some power-related issues along the way. The compact design of this LG dryer is perfectly tailored for smaller spaces like our apartment. It efficiently utilizes the available area without compromising on performance allowing us to maximize our laundry rooms functionality. During its five-year lifespan this dryer consistently delivered excellent results drying our clothes efficiently and leaving them fresh and wrinkle-free. However we did face a specific issue with the power system. The dryer would sometimes refuse to turn on unless we unplugged it for a few minutes before starting a load. While this occasional inconvenience did require some troubleshooting it didnt overshadow the overall positive experience we had with the dryer. Despite the intermittent power issue this LG dryer showcased its strength in drying performance. It effectively handled various fabrics and loads ensuring that our clothes were thoroughly dried in a timely manner. We appreciated the convenience of the condensing feature as it eliminated the need for venting and simplified installation in our apartment. In terms of energy efficiency this dryer exceeded our expectations. It consistently provided energy-saving performance resulting in noticeable reductions in our utility bills. Definitely buy the service agreement. Dont know the statistics but these dryers are made of plastic. So glad I was covered when 4 years into the 5 year contract the motor burned out. Happily they came took the entire dryer apart and replaced the bad parts. Wonder if I can extend the service warranty....

I bought this unit almost 2 years ago for my Florida condo. It does not got a lot of use as I am only there 16 to 20 weeks a year. Shortly after the 1 year warranty ran out it started turning itself off every couple of min. It typically requires 5 to 7 restarts before it finally runs till cycle finishes.
