We love how dry the dishes get but there is a weird smell. We might switch out the detergent and see if that changes. Machine is really quiet too but cycles take a long time.

Quiet, efficient, poorly designed rack system

This dishwasher is remarkably quiet, cleans dishes, pots, pans, et al thoroughly, but truly has the worst designed silverware/utensil basket we’ve ever seen. It can only be placed on the sides which takes up the real estate you need for any pots or pans. You have you set the upper dish rack at the highest location to clear any spatulas or soup ladles in the silverware bin because of the non-moveable dividers…. Unless you wanna lay them down in the upper rack which takes even more loading space away. If you hook this silverware bin to the side of the lower rack as designed, the huge (!) handle contacts the door gasket every time you slide the lower rack in our out, which is the one seal you don’t want to compromise. So you have to move the inboard about an inch from the side of the rack, thereby taking up even more space. We are looking online for a silverware rack from any other dishwasher (from any manufacturer) that will take up less space and allow you to load a tall spatula. Poor design in an otherwise excellent product.
