Coronavirus, Schaefer’s and our customers…now what?!?!? MARCH 26, 2020

Schaefer’s Store (48th & R) and our Appliance Service Department (601 N. 66th Street) will remain open for business to meet the essential needs of our community. Effective Thursday, March 26, 2020, we will be following the 10 person restriction in our showroom and practicing safe distancing. 


For a completely contact free transaction, you can purchase your products on our website.

If an item shows an ADD TO CART, it is in stock and available for purchase and ready for pick up or delivery.


We are continuing to deliver and service products in-home within safe guidelines and will do so until the Lancaster County Health Department mandates otherwise. We are monitoring this on a daily basis. Don’t be surprised, if at the time of purchase, scheduling and day of installation, delivery or repair, we are asking you the following questions (subject to change):


  • Have you or anyone in your household traveled to New York, California, Colorado, Washington, or outside the United States in the last 14-days?
  • Have you or anyone in your household been sick?
  • Have you or anyone in your household had personal contact with anyone who has tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19)?
  • We are asking everyone to keep a distance of at least six feet.
  • If anyone gets sick to please call and cancel appointment.


Likewise, we will not be sending team members into your home who are feeling unwell.  


We understand this is all very confusing and promise we will do our best to help navigate this unchartered territory.  Remember, If YOU do your part and WE do our part, together we will get through this!
