This appliance is very well made, beautiful in appearance! I am very happy with your product. We also purchased a dishwasher as well. Everything looks lovely in my new kitchen!

Loud whistling noise when in use, during cooldown

We purchased this unit along with the Extended Warranty. While the bottom oven is in use, and during the cool down period, it makes a loud whistling noise. We have had two techs come out to repair / review the situation and they called in to KitchenAid because they could not solve the issue and were told that "it was supposed to make that noise / is part of design". When we have guests over they always ask what the loud noise is in our kitchen - I cannot imagine the product was designed this way. We are evaluating what we can do to replace it with another unit.

We bought this to replace one just like it. The replaced one was 18 years old and still working fine. We just wanted to update. Glad we did. We love it!

This item was true to dimensions and easy to install. Also it was simple to set the time and use the functions. The black stainless is so impressive with our quartzite counters.
