90 days and multiple failures.

We have had this microwave for just over 90 days and have only been able to use it a few weeks. We have had multiple failures of the door LCD screen causing the unit to be rendered usless. The LCD screen has lines. We are on our 3rd door replacement and are about to enquire about getting a check back from Whirlpool as this unit is a lemon. The app can be much better as well, while this product could be awsome in many ways, it fails on every level.
Awesome microwave with two major caveats

Overall this would be a 5 Star microwave were it not for two things: First of all, the microwave needs to be unplugged and plugged back in to reset it every month or so when the menus stop responding. We had whirlpool out to fix this problem once but it hasn’t gone away, just gotten less frequent. Secondly, the touch screen interface is extremely sluggish. So sluggish in fact that when I want to turn on the fan (which does not have a button on the front panel, only in the touch screen and not always showing) to a setting other than full speed, the timing of the touches to the icon must be spaced extremely far apart to get the touches to register. The overall touch screen experience is terrible. It basically has the same speed, feel, and appearance of a first generation smartphone. By this I mean that it looks nice but if you want to interact with it you have to be very deliberate and purposeful with your interactions and also very patient as it thinks about what you want it to do. It feels very similar to a cheap arduino interface that any hobbyist can build for less than $100. Other than the display and lack of actual buttons on the front panel, this microwave is great. It cooks well and the convection oven is really nice to have.

This microwave came with my new home. The previous owner bent the door. My appliance person has tried 4 new doors. None of them have a clock that works. My model is: 76719. The microwave works, but the clock will not set properly.
Great features!
