Replaced a 16 year old microwave with this great looking Whirlpool OTR microwave. I have been using it for almost 2 weeks and everything works as stated in owners manual. Installed it myself with no problem. Great buy.

My husband and I purchased this microwave 18 months ago from Home Depot. It worked great. Around 6 or 7 months ago we started having issues with the light working. Just yesterday, the light didn’t work consistently and then the entire microwave quit working. Super disappointing that we have now replaced all our kitchen appliances with whirlpool only to experience issues as the warranty runs out. We have trouble shoot to try and solve the problem and now it looks like our only option is to replace. Extremely disappointed especially knowing we will have to replace with another whirlpool microwave to make sure all our appliances match.

The guy repairing our only 5yr old Samsung (that was pronounced dead) told us to go Whirlpool and, so far, we love it! Much quieter than the old one and cooks nice and evenly. The only "con" would be the light. It's an incandescent and not very bright. Our old one had two nice bright LEDs on either side of the bottom. Add that to this model and it's perfect.
