Our Samsung unit went out after 9 years of service and we heard that we were lucky for it to last as long as it did. I noticed the Maytag and the 10 year parts warranty when we went out looking for a replacement. The features and price were also in line with what we were wanting. Upon purchase, the install went easily and the unit has been performing very well. Hoping for another 9 years!
