Compared with the Kitchenaid microwave we replaced, this microwave has the look and feel of cheap plastic. For the price I paid (almost $900 with an extended warranty), I expected something of much higher quality.

Microwave works great. Trim kit, however, is cheap plastic. We used the trim kit from our previous microwave and it looks great.
