I have had a 12,000 btu frigidaire for about 14 years and it was still cooling nicely. It was in need of a thorough cleaning and I had installed it threw the wall chalked and trimmed in. This one has a slide out chassie so it will only take minutes to take out and clean compared to about 4-6 hours for the old one. With about 400 Sq' this unit barely ever runs and with the thermostat my rooms are always comfortable. Thank you Frigidaire, I wish you had offered a slide out chassie years ago.

So far so very good.Since the a/c was installed about 2weeks ago the weather hasn't required the a/c.One day it was warm enough so I used it & was very happy with the performance.It cooled well & quietly & was easy to use.I look forward to the long hot days of Summer 2021.

This is my second purchase of this unit, it cools my entire 1000 sq ft apartment. Very energy efficient cost very little to run. This is my go to unit.
